Nivalis Nights Achievements: All 120 and How Rare They Are

Nivalis Nights ships with 120 Steam achievements, and the rarity spread tells you exactly where the game hides its grind. One achievement — Lowtown — is at 100.0%. Forty-nine are already sitting on the 0.1% floor of Steam's display, the median achievement is at 0.3%, and 63 of the 120 are pure find-one-of-each counters you can tick off without touching the business loop at all.

Every rate below was pulled from Steam's official global stats page at 14:48 UTC on 2026-09-30, day two after launch, when the store page showed 1,355 reviews. Steam labels the column "% of all players" and these numbers move every hour as the player base grows, so read them as a launch-week snapshot, not a settled average. All 120 are transcribed below with Valve's own wording.

What the numbers actually reveal

Exploration is the free part. The 18 district achievements run from 100.0% down to 1.2% with no puzzle in between — you unlock districts as you progress. Collectibles are the wall: 28.1% of players have found a single Graffiti, 1.3% have five, and "Graffiti Admirer" is already on the floor.

Four clean ladders show up in the wording itself, and they are the cheapest way to plan a run: crops go 1 → 5 → 10 → 20 → every type; Graffiti goes 1 → 5 → 10 → all; menu cards go 1 → 10 → all; and the city dining tour steps 5 → 10 → 20 → 30 → 50 restaurants, all five already on the floor. Fishing is the longest tail — 24 species, with Burbot, Pike and Stickleback near 10% and the other 21 at or below 1.1%. Our fishing page covers getting on the water.

Two more findings. The "First 4* Review" achievements are in-venue game reviews, not Steam review scores — a different number from the real player verdict. And "Debt Free" names the bar: Ramen Noir. The currency is spelled "lims" in one revenue achievement and "Lims" in the other.

Note that Project Grapevine is a farming achievement with no greenhouse in it — seeds go on the Oil Rig.

All five are on the floor, which makes this the most punishing ladder in the game.

Venues, money and reviews (17)

"Own 2 Venues" confirms in its own text that a permit gate sits between your first and second venue, though the page gives no tier name or cost. Our business and money guide covers the running of venues.

Side quests and cases (8)

Seven of these eight are on the floor, and they are the achievements most likely to depend on decisions you did not know were weighted. "Seen a Ghost" at 0.8% is the exception, and the only quest achievement a normal playthrough reaches. Names like Ava, Fauxter, Salma, Iann and Thaddeus show up here too — the characters page covers the ones the game itself names.

The 13 with no description on the official page

Steam publishes no description for these thirteen and does not say whether they are flagged secret, so their unlock conditions are simply not on the record, and we are not going to guess at them. What the rates do show is a cliff: three sit above 9%, and the other ten are all at 0.3% or below.

When an achievement will not unlock

Here is what is confirmed, and where the record stops.

Confirmed. The developer's pinned Read First / Known Issues post, published 29 September, lists six categories under active work: performance, minor quest dialogue, NPC movement, minor issues placing items in venues, Steam Deck performance, and minor clipping and animation. Achievements are not on that list. The official FAQ thread has no achievements section at all — the word appears once, in a navigation link. And as of 14:49 UTC on 30 September the Steam news feed still carried no patch notes or hotfix announcement, the newest item being the launch post from 29 September.

Confirmed from the achievement text itself. Every counter is cumulative by its own wording — "Find 5 Graffiti" and "Find 10 Graffiti" are separate steps on one path, and "Graffiti Admirer" asks for all of them. A session that finds four will not pop anything.

What to send if one stays stuck. The same post asks for a ticket at support.505games.com with a DxDiag report plus the log files, which live in %USERPROFILE%\AppData\LocalLow\ION LANDS\Nivalis Nights — Player.log and Player-prev.log. That folder also holds the .sav files, the first officially published location for this game's saves. Save manually from the pause menu before quitting, because the game only autosaves at the end of each day. Stuck in-world rather than stuck on a counter is a different page: saves and stuck problems.
